GRANT COUNTY, Oklahoma – A Jenks man and a Tulsa woman died after their car went airborne on a bridge in Grant County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

It happened on state Highway 11 just west of Medford.

Troopers say Joshua Jackson crossed the center line and hit some kind of traffic cone, called a delineator.

The OHP said the car ran up the guardrail of the bridge, went airborne, and landed in a creek bed.  The car then rolled and landed on its top.

Jackson and his passenger, Brooke Moncrief, 32, died in the crash. Troopers said they were pinned for an unknown amount of time.

It's not known if Jackson and Moncrief were wearing seatbelts or exactly when the accident happened.
