Reward Being Offered for Girl Taken by Non-Custodial Mother

The Edmond Police Department is offering a reward for the safe return of an 8-year-old girl who was taken from her Edmond school on October 15.

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- The Edmond Police Department is offering a reward for the safe return of an 8-year-old girl who was taken from her Edmond school on October 15.

Police said Dylana Smith's biological mother, Dominic Smith, took Dylana from Ida Freeman Elementary School but does not have guardianship over the child.

Police have issued a warrant for Dominic Smith's arrest. A reward of up to $2,000 has been offered for Dylana's safe return.
