OKLAHOMA CITY – A man has been arrested in connection to breaking into the hotel room of a visiting flight attendant.
According to police, the woman was staying at the Wyndham Hotel, 2101 S. Meridian, when she decided to go to a nearby club with some coworkers. While at the club, she set down her purse and shortly after noticed it was missing. The purse was found in the men's restroom of the club after the woman reported it missing to security.
The woman noticed her hotel room key was among some items missing from her purse. She went to her hotel room to find that her travel bag containing a work manual with security information inside, her passport, Social Security card, flight attendant certificate and $150 cash had been taken.
Hotel video captured images of a 28-year-old Jerry Wayne Mills Jr. and a woman entering the hotel room and leaving carrying a bag.
