OKLAHOMA CITY -- A fire that broke out at an empty, unused school building in southeast Oklahoma City is under investigation.
Fire officials said they are working to determine how a fire started at the school at S.E. 15th Street and I-35, which is owned by the Crooked Oak School District but has been leased out to a head start program.
School officials said the blaze will not impact any students on Monday.
"We're working with the director this school. It's a charter school, and they haven't put students in the school yet," said Oklahoma City Battalion Chief Richard Kelley.
Officials said there was fire, smoke, and water damage to the building.
