I-40 Lanes Closed Due to Accident Near Yukon

YUKON, Oklahoma – All lanes of eastbound Interstate 40 are closed in Yukon. The westbound lanes are narrowed to one.

An accident has caused the lane closures just west of Garth Brooks Boulevard.

Crews are working to clear the scene that is in a construction zone.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use Garth Brooks Boulevard and Cimarron Road instead.

It is unclear what caused the accident or if any injuries were reported.
