Non-Custodial Mother Wanted for Taking Daughter From School Last Week

EDMOND, Oklahoma – A woman who does not have custodial rights is wanted for child stealing after taking her daughter from school a week ago. The child has not been back to school since.

According to police, Dominic R. Smith took her daughter, 8-year-old Dylana Smith, from Ida Freeman Elementary School last Friday.

Police said recent developments lead investigators to believe Dominic was recently seen near 23rd Street between Meridian Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard in Oklahoma City. They said she has been seen at the Olde London Towne Apartments, 5518 N.W. 23rd Street, as well as at the 7-11, 5550 N.W. 23rd Street.
