OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police have watched iPod video of a possibly racially-motivated fight on an Oklahoma City Public Schools bus.

Carrie Holeman said her daughter, who is white, was attacked Monday by a black female student as they rode home from John Marshall High School. According to the police report, the fight broke out at N.W. 69th Street and Drexel between Holeman's daughter and the bus driver's niece.

One of the officers called to the scene watched video of the altercation taken by a student on the bus. He said it showed the bus driver's niece yelling at Holeman's daughter and refusing to let her off the bus. The officer said the alleged attacker started hitting the victim, and the victim hit her back.

The bus driver then came over to break up the fight. The victim's father, Henry Holeman, saw the commotion from across the street.  He boarded the bus to try to get to his daughter. According to the responding officer, the video showed the bus driver yelling at Holeman to get off the bus, but he refused to leave without his daughter. The officer reported the bus driver then started hitting Holeman.

Witnesses called police to the scene. They cleared the bus and questioned the students. Officers said they received several conflicting stories. The video taken of the altercation is being used as evidence and has not been released yet.

No one has been arrested in connection with the fight.

The Holemans have pulled their daughter out of John Marshall High School. They said they also  planned to file a lawsuit.
