Oklahoma River Rowing Teams Headed to World Championships

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Several of Oklahoma City's finest athletes are headed to New Zealand where they'll compete in the Rowing World Championships.

The men's rowing teams have been preparing for competition on the Oklahoma River.

"The support around here is amazing. It's really nice and refreshing compared to other places that I've rowed," said Kenny McMahon, competitive rower.

And while most of those athletes are new to our state, many Oklahoma said they will be cheering on the adopted Oklahomans.
