OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police have cleared a man whose identity was apparently used by another man arrested last week.
OCPD was informed on October 17 that a man placed under arrest the day before was not who he claimed. Police said after the man was released, he bragged to others that he had used his friend's information when booked.
The victim and the suspect have known each other for a long time, and went to school together. The victim also stated that he was pretty sure that his friend had used his information several times before.
The victim has filed police reports and contacted the suspect several times recently, asking the friend to turn himself in, but the friend so far has refused.
OCPD has requested a warrant for the suspect.
