Flu Shots Offered at Downtown Transit Center

OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's an unusual place to get your flu shot, but the city wants to keep everyone who rides METRO Transit buses safe from the flu.

This Thursday, the Oklahoma City-County Health Department will be giving flu shots at the Downtown Transit Center.

With an average of 10,000 people riding Transit buses every day they thought that would be the perfect place to reach riders.

Anyone interested can get a flu shot this Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $25.

The Transit Center is located at 420 N.W. 5th Street. They will also provide several other health services.
