Arrest Made in Norman Fatal Hit-and-Run

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Police have arrested one in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Norman earlier this week.

Police said 68-year-old Kenneth Williams was stopped at a red light at N.E. 12th Street and Tecumseh Road at about 5:44 a.m. Monday when a 2005 dark blue Ford F-150 truck slammed into Williams' vehicle. The driver of the truck fled on foot.

Williams later died of injuries he suffered in the accident.

Police arrested Yisroel Orlando Allen, 35, for alleged involvement in the incident. Allen faces second-degree murder, leaving the scene of a fatality collision, and false report a crime.

Orlando is being held without bond in the Cleveland County Detention Center.

The D.A. is expected to file formal charges against Orlando next week.
