OKLAHOMA CITY -- Sonya Hannon began playing the piano when she was a 6-year-old. By age nine she began losing her hearing, but she kept on playing.

Now, this 69-year-old piano teacher can hear again thanks to a cochlear ear implant. The piano teacher said hearing her students' play after all this time is music to her ears.

Hannon has the pleasure to play her piano at a banquet to honor those who helped her hear from the Hough Ear Institute.

All Oklahomans who suffer with hearing loss are invited to a hearing health fair Saturday at the Oklahoma City Marriott on Northwest Expressway.
