Norman Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Fled on Foot

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Norman police are looking for a man who left the scene of an early morning accident Wednesday.

Police said 68-year-old Kenneth Williams had stopped at a red light at N.E. 12th Street and Tecumseh Road at about 5:44 a.m. when a 2005 dark blue Ford F-150 truck slammed into Williams' vehicle. The driver of the truck was described as "a younger white male" and left the scene on foot.

Williams was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
