OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City residents are being asked to grade city services.

The city just released its 2010 Performance Report. The 12-page report highlighted how well Oklahoma City delivered its services. The city said its "report card" on everything from animal control to pothole repair was a way to demonstrate accountability by measuring and evaluating services funded by tax dollars.

The city has asked residents to read the report online then provide feedback on the report's readability, content and value.

"These performance reports are important because they establish a link between performance and budgeting," Finance Director Laura Johnson said. "The report will help citizens understand what their sales tax is paying for and helps City leaders make informed decisions."

The survey will be open through November 5, and the results will help Oklahoma City staff improve future reports.

Read the report and take the online survey.
