Victim Found with Multiple Gun Shot Wounds in Rural Logan County

GUTHRIE, Oklahoma -- Logan County Sheriff's deputies said a victim with multiple gun shot wounds was rushed to the hospital after being found in rural Logan County.

Deputies were called out to check on the welfare of a person about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday at Pine Road and E. Charter Oak Road near Interstate 35 in rural Logan County. That's when deputies found the gunshot victim.

A car was also found at the scene.

The victim's identity and condition are not known at this time.

Authorities are looking for the gunman but said they have little leads to go on at this point.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
