Portion of Turner Turnpike Closed Through Saturday

OKLAHOMA CITY – The outside, westbound lane of the Turner Turnpike between the 141-146 mile marker will be closed until Saturday evening.

The lane closure is west of Wellston and just east of where Interstate 44 intersects with Interstate 35.

The road will be closed due to standing water on the road. Officials have closed to road to prevent any hydroplaning that may occur in the area.
