OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police are trying to catch a man behind a one-day crime spree in Oklahoma City and Moore, and they're hoping cell phone video from one of his victims will help them.

Oklahoma City Police said the suspect was involved in at least two armed robberies and two carjackings. Police said the crime spree started at Auto Dimensions in Moore.

Car salesman Nader Sadeghy said the suspect came into the dealership and said he wanted to pay cash for a $35,000 Lincoln Navigator. Nader said that is something he doesn't hear often, if ever.

"I was a little more cautious with handling the deal," Sadeghy said.

Sadeghy said that was just the beginning of his suspicion because from there the suspect went on to tell him he didn't have his license.

"When he said he does not have a license, that's when things were a little more suspicious than normal. That's when I decided to open the video and shoot it," Sadeghy said.

Sadeghy said he was able to shoot video of the suspect during a test drive of the Lincoln Navigator. The video showed the suspect talking on his cell phone. The suspect then robbed Sadeghy and stole the 2007 Lincoln Navigator.

From there the crime spree continued as the suspect went to Reynolds Ford in Northwest Oklahoma City to test drive a 2010 Ford F-150. There the suspect stole a salesman's wallet, cell phone and the dealership's truck.

Police said the man continued on to a Super Target at W. Memorial Road and N. Penn Avenue where he robbed a woman putting groceries in her car. While officers were at the scene taking that report, they received another call that someone had been robbed at the Sam's gas station just down the street.

"He was somewhat prolific on that day, four robberies on that day and that's just robberies we're aware of," said Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight.

Police said the suspect had at least two accomplices, but they did not have descriptions of them.

Anyone with information about the robberies should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
