Drug Addicted Mother Abandons Baby at Hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A drug addicted mother abandoned her newborn baby at Deaconess Hospital.

Doctors said the baby tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamines.

EMSA brought the woman to the hospital after she delivered the baby at home. About a day and a half after arriving the mother took off and left the baby behind.

Doctors don't know when the baby will be well enough to be released.
