Police Trying to Identify Armed Robber Who Pistol Whipped Clerk

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are working to identify a man that robbed a south Oklahoma City business at gunpoint last week.

Police said the suspect entered Ziggyz Smoke Shop, 1033 S. Meridian, last Tuesday, pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect then pistol whipped the clerk and left the store. The clerk was not seriously injured.

The man was described as being approximately 50-years-old, 5'11" tall and weighed about 190 pounds.

Anyone with information about the man's whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
