OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma has lost more than 3,000 manufacturing jobs in the past year.
The 2010 Oklahoma Manufacturers Register reports the state has lost 210 manufacturers. Sectors losing jobs include housing and construction and printing and publishing. Jobs did increase, however, in chemicals manufacturing and medical instruments.
Despite the job loss, there are several companies opening in the near future; manufacturing food, guns and Wrangler Jeans.
