ENID, Oklahoma -- An explosives team found no hazardous materials on a truck that triggered an alert from an explosive detector dog at Vance Air Force Base Friday.

Security closed one of the base's gates and secured the area after the dog alerted its handler.  The dog detected something on a commercial vehicle trying to enter the base near the Baker Gate.

Because Vance does not have an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team, they called in one from McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas to check out the situation.

The Kansas team found no hazardous materials. Security called off the alert and released the truck and its driver.
