OKLAHOMA CITY -- A new study released by the CDC showed Oklahomans eat the least amount of fruit in the country.
The study found only one in three U.S. adults eats two or more servings of fruit a day. Oklahomans had the lowest percentage of adults consuming fruit with only 18.1 percent of adults eating the daily recommendation. Washington, D.C., residents appear to eat the most fruit in the country with 40.2 percent of adults eating the daily recommendations of fruit.
The study also reported just one in four Americans eats the recommended three servings of vegetables every day.
