Saying Goodbye to Amy

One of NEWS 9's own is moving on to start a new chapter in her life. Amy McRee's last day on the air will be Friday, September 17 at 10 p.m.

Amy recently got married to Joe, an Oklahoma native who now lives in California. After their June nuptials, the couple decided to reside full-time in California. This is an exciting time for Amy and we wish her the very best as she builds her new life!

Amy began her career at NEWS 9 ten years ago as a traffic reporter. Almost three years later she was promoted to what she calls a dream anchor team and she's been in the anchor chair ever since. Amy said it has been a joy and privilege to deliver the news night after night to Oklahomans.

She appreciates the support and encouragement as she embarks on her new journey and she is so happy to share these exciting times with everyone.
