Police, K9 Find Missing 10-year-old Who Never Showed Up for School

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police spent the morning searching for a missing 10-year-old boy who was found a few hours later.

Silas George was last seen by his family Tuesday night at his home on S.E. 31st Street at approximately 10:30 p.m. When his parents woke up Wednesday morning, Silas was gone.

Police said he never showed up at school. Officers searched the area and found the boy with the help of a K9.

Police said Silas told them he got lost after he followed a deer he saw into a nearby wooded area.
