OKLAHOMA CITY -- Worshippers were a little hot under the collar at one metro church over the weekend because thieves stole their air conditioning units.
The suspects took four out of five air conditioners from the New Heights Baptist Church in southwest Oklahoma City.
Workers spent Monday installing new units.
The robbers got away with about $200 to $600 worth of copper, but it cost the church $11,000 to replace the units. The congregation is taking it all in stride.
"We had a very warm service but no complaints, we just had a good time. But it was uncomfortable, but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't that big of a deal," said worship leader Mike Nix.
Nix said the congregation prayed for the suspects.
