EDMOND, Oklahoma -- The runoff primary election for the 5th Congressional District has been heated between Republicans Kevin Calvey and James Lankford. We went to the polls to see what choices voters made and why.

Karen Altendorf chose Calvey. "I just felt he was more qualified because he had been in elections before," she said.

Mary Forsythe also voted for Calvey. "Kevin Calvey. And I voted for his experience and I know him personally," Forsythe said.

Others cast their votes for Lankford because they wanted to see change.

"Well, I think we need some new blood in Washington," said Bob Brown.

Bill Wolf told News 9, "I voted for Lankford. And I voted for him because I'd like to see a change."
