OKLAHOMA CITY -- After a trial that lasted just a day and a half, a federal jury convicted a Woodward man Tuesday of producing child pornography.

Prosecutors said Dean Leroy Freerksen, 28, took explicit photographs of himself and his wife engaging in sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl. The abuse occurred at Freerksen's Woodward home in the summer of 2009.

One of the victims told her mother about the abuse, and she reported it to police.

The jury deliberated about an hour before returning with a guilty verdict. Freerksen could be sentenced to 15 years to 150 years in federal prison.

His wife, Alicia Freerksen, pleaded guilty last week to possession of child pornography in connection with the same case. She could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
