Arrest Made in Logan County Murder, Victim's Sketch Released

An arrested has been made in the murder of a man in Logan County, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Jessica Brown.

OKLAHOMA CITY – An arrested has been made in the murder of a man in Logan County, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Jessica Brown.

Brown said OSBI agents arrested 21-year-old Alejandro Manuel Cowns at about 5 a.m. Tuesday morning at his home in the 1400 block of S.W. 65th Street. He was booked into the Logan County jail on a first-degree murder complaint.

More arrests are expected.

Cowns was arrested in the murder of a man whose body was found by a passerby near Henney Road and Charter Oaks at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The medical examiner's office described the victim as a Hispanic male in his 20s, short dark hair, weighing about 165 pounds and about 5'3" in height. He has no identifying markings or tattoos. The victim's manner of death was ruled as being from a gunshot wound.

OSBI has released a sketch of the victim in hopes to identify the man.
