Law Enforcement Catches Nearly 100 Seatbelt Violators During Crackdown

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- A crackdown on seatbelt violators nabs nearly 100 motorists in just one city.

Law enforcement officers from 15 agencies teamed up over the weekend for "Get your clicks on Route 66."

For 24 hours, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officers were on the look-out for people not wearing their seatbelts. In Edmond alone, officers stopped 99 vehicles.

No word yet on how many violators were caught in other cities. Those numbers are expected to be released sometime Tuesday.
