2 Oklahomans Found in Burned Camper in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- Police are investigating the discovery of two people from Oklahoma City found in a burned camper in New Mexico as a double homicide.

The pair's truck was found abandoned in an Albuquerque parking lot Wednesday afternoon. The burned camper was found in Santa Rosa, more than 100 miles away.

Police said they believe the victims left Oklahoma City early Monday morning.

The two people have not yet been identified.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen the truck traveling along I-40 to call New Mexico State Police at 575-461-3300 or 575-472-5211
