Nearly a Dozen Drivers Arrested for DUI at S.W. Oklahoma City Checkpoint

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office arrested 18 people late Saturday night and early Sunday morning at a sobriety checkpoint in Southwest Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office arrested 18 people late Saturday night and early Sunday morning at a sobriety checkpoint in Southwest Oklahoma City.

Eleven drivers were arrested for driving under the influence at the checkpoint located at the intersection of Interstate 240 and May Avenue.

Deputies also gave out 69 tickets and impounded 27 vehicles.
