Over 100 Oklahomans Treated for Heat Related Illnesses

High temps have caused EMSA to issue three Heat Alerts since the beginning of summer. But the current alert is the longest the state has seen all summer.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- High temps have caused EMSA to issue three Heat Alerts since the beginning of summer. But the current alert is the longest the state has seen all summer.

EMSA has treated close to 100 Oklahomans for heat related illnesses since the end of May and almost half of those patients were treated in the last two weeks.

The Heat Alert will remain in effect till temperatures significantly drop.
