Woman Dies in Hit-And-Run in Kay County

TONKAWA, Oklahoma -- A 35-year-old woman has been killed in a hit-and-run accident near Tonkawa.

The Kay County Sheriff's Office says a car struck Stacy Le Clair of White Eagle as she was walking down the street at about 10 p.m. Thursday. The driver then fled the scene.

Sheriff's deputies say Clair's body landed nearly 200 feet from the point of impact.

No suspect information has been released.
