EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Edmond has been ranked number one by FamilyCircle magazine as the best place for families.
The magazine's Web site cited several factors that gave Edmond the edge, including population, median income and median home price.
Schools also played a big role. They say the student to teacher ratio is 18 to one. They also gave Edmond a nine out of 10 on the great school rating.
