Yukon Roofing Company Employee Treated After Hazmat Scare

Yukon police and an Oklahoma City Fire Department hazmat unit were called out to a roofing company in Yukon around 3 p.m. According to Yukon police, a secretary got sick after handling some papers at Salazar Roofing.

YUKON, Oklahoma – Yukon police and an Oklahoma City Fire Department hazmat unit were called out to a roofing company in Yukon around 3 p.m.

According to Yukon police, a secretary got sick after handling some papers at Salazar Roofing located at 209 E. Main Street.

The employee said she became dizzy and her skin was itching after looking through some personnel documents that she was copying.

EMSA transported the worker to an area hospital as a precaution. She is in good condition.

No other injuries were reported.

The company was not evacuated. Police interviewed employees about the incident.
