OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City convenience store owner was beaten with cases of beer during a robbery, police said.

The man told police four men came into his store near Pennsylvania Avenue and Main Street late Friday night. He said two men grabbed two cases of beer and started running out of the store. According to police, the owner jumped over the counter and gave chase. When he got outside the suspects started hitting him over the head with the cases of beer they stole.

Police later arrested Kendall Lowe. The 27-year-old faces robbery and assault charges.

The other suspects are still on the loose. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
