ALLEN, Oklahoma -- A fiery two car crash killed three people along Highway 9 near Tecumseh Sunday including a mother and daughter. The deaths have left the people in the small town of Allen in Ponotoc County in disbelief.

The three who died have been identified as Tracy Craig of Noble and mother and daughter Renda and Shelby Lewis of Allen.

In Allen everybody knows everybody. Cody King went to school with Shelby.

"She was real Christian-like. She went to church and all that, and she was real friendly, and everybody loved her. I mean she was a great person," King said.

The Lewis family left a good impression on those who knew them only casually.

"Nice, friendly, you know, neighborly like the whole town of Allen is," said resident LaJuana Ledbetter.

And in Allen, the town is mourning the loss and sharing one another's sorrows.

"People here are very close. They're very family oriented, so consequently something of this magnitude would hit them very, very hard," said resident Ronnie Stevenson.

Renda and Shelby Lewis worshipped at the First Baptist Church of Allen. Their funeral service will be held in the church Thursday at 2 p.m. Many of the 900 Allen residents are expected to pay their respects.
