OKLAHOMA CITY -- Locally heavy rainfall with flooding will be the primary risks for the next couple of days. Overnight a cold front will enter into northwest Oklahoma.
With tropical air in place, most of the state is at risk for heavy rain. The front will make its way into central Oklahoma around noon Thursday, bumping up rain chances to 80 percent across the state Thursday.
With the soil saturated, the risk for flooding continues through the work week. With flooding possible, it is important to remember to not drive into water and to keep children away from water as well.
The weekend looks much better with only a slight chance for storms on Saturday and partly cloudy skies on Sunday. Stay with NEWS 9, we'll keep you advised.
