Semi Accidents Cause July 4th Traffic Tie-Ups

YUKON, Oklahoma – Several accidents involving semis have caused traffic trouble during the fourth of July holiday.

Interstate 40 westbound was closed at State Highway 92 in Yukon, but was reopened about an hour later. Crews worked to clear the roadway of a tractor-trailer wreck.

All lanes of westbound I-40 were also closed at Mustang Road due to an overturned semi.

All blocked roads were reopened by about 10 p.m. Sunday.
