Oklahoma City police are searching for a man suspected of stealing a motorized wheelchair from an assisted living center on the city's northeast side.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are searching for a man suspected of stealing a motorized wheelchair from an assisted living center on the city's northeast side.

According to police, a man walked into the assisted living center, 1316 N.E. 12 Street, sat in a chair, waited about 15 minutes and then sat in the motorized wheelchair to drive it out of the lobby.

Police describe the man as a black male wearing a black T-shirt and shorts.
