OKLAHOMA CITY -- The extreme summer temperatures proved to be a challenge for firefighters as they battled a blaze at a business in Southeast Oklahoma City.
Fire crews were called out to Scott Cleaners at Southeast 25th Street and High Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters had to take breaks while working to put out the fire because of the extreme temperatures.
One firefighter was transported to the hospital for heat exhaustion. He is expected to be OK.
EMSA responded to seven heat-related calls Saturday.
