OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Edmond man convicted of going on a wild crime spree in 2006 received a 30 year prison sentence.
About four years ago, Edmond police arrested Scott Michael Thornton for going on a five-hour crime spree.
Tuesday he pleaded guilty to three counts of kidnapping, two counts of first degree burglary, and one count each of robbery with an imitation fire arm, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and attempted unauthorized use of a credit card.
A judge ruled Thornton's 30 years will run concurrently and gave him credit for time served. Thornton's criminal record dated back to 1987.
