OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City firefighters said one woman died in a house fire Sunday morning.
The fire started shortly before 3 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of N. McKinley. When fire crews arrived at the scene, the two-story home was completely engulfed.
Fire District Chief Al Cothran said four of the building's five occupants escaped safely, but told authorities a woman was still upstairs.
Cothran said firefighters were able to reach the woman and pull her out of the house, but it was too late and she died at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
Investigators have not determined the cause of the fire.
