MARLOW, Oklahoma -- A hearing to discuss a protective ordered filed against the mayor of Marlow is on hold.

The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday in Judge Brent Russell's courtroom, but a clerk in his office said the Judge has recused himself from the case. The case was then passed on to Stephens County District Judge Joe Enos, but he also has recused himself.

The case is now in the hands of Comanche County Judge Allen McCall, but a new hearing date is not set.

According to an incident report filed with the Stephens County Sheriff's Office, Mayor Don Graham is accused of assaulting his wife, Tammy Graham, on two different occasions at their home.

In the first incident, Tammy Graham told deputies she was shoved to the ground by Mayor Graham during an argument outside and received several minor injuries.

In the second, she accused the Mayor of dragging her through the house. According to the incident report, Tammy Graham's head was cut open and she required stitches.

On June 2, Tammy Graham filed a victim's protection order against her husband.

Mayor Graham has declined to comment.
