OKLAHOMA CITY -- Ten Oklahoma schools made Newsweek's list of "America's Best High Schools" this year. The list was featured in the magazine this week.
Included in that list were two Oklahoma City and three Edmond area schools, including Classen School of Advanced Studies which was listed in the top 50.
According to the Newsweek magazine article, only 6 percent of all public schools in the U.S. made the list.
The School for the Talented and Gifted at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center in Dallas, Texas was the top ranked school on the list of over 1,600 schools.
