OKLAHOMA CITY -- Rescue crews have found a man's body that drowned in the Canadian River.

The 35-year-old man reportedly got caught in the Canadian River near 122nd Street and Hiwassee Road while he was swimming with his family.

The man was reportedly fishing with his children when one of his children got too far out in the water, and he went to push the child to safety. The man reportedly went under the water and a search ensured when he never resurfaced.

That man's name has not been released.

One child was transported to a local hospital. The child's condition is not known at this time.

Hiwassee Road between Hefner and Memorial roads were closed during the search.
