Dover Mortuary Awaits Bodies of 5 Americans

The bodies of five American servicemen -- including an Oklahoman -- are being returned to the military mortuary at Dover Air Force Base.

DOVER, Delaware -- The bodies of five American servicemen -- including an Oklahoman -- are being returned to the military mortuary at Dover Air Force Base.

The five killed in Afghanistan are identified as Army Specialist Charles Jirtle of Lawton; Army Sgt. Robert N. Barton of Roxie, Miss.; Army Specialist Matthew Catlett of Houston; Army Specialist Blaine Redding of Plattsmouth, Neb.; and Marine Sgt. John Rankel of Speedway, Ind.

All but the body of Sgt. Barton are to arrive at Dover today. Barton's body is to arrive Wednesday.

The bodies of five other American servicemen arrived at the military mortuary at Dover Air Force Base on Tuesday.
