OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are investigating the theft of several pieces of lawn equipment from a storage building that is part of an apartment complex at 1218 N. Brookline Avenue.

At 6 p.m. on May 24, the owner reported that surveillance video captured a man breaking into the storage building and walking away with a six-foot yellow ladder, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male between 35-50 years old, about 5'05"-5'08" with a thin build. He is described as having brown hair and a brown mustache. The suspect's vehicle is described as a blue and silver or grey full-sized van. Police said the suspect was seen putting the ladder into the van in the video just before the camera stopped recording.

The owner said several items were missing from his building, including a leaf blower and weed eater.

Police said a second suspect was driving the vehicle but was not captured on camera.

If anyone has information on this case, they should contact Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
