Mark Woodward, Spokesman for OBNDD says the public forum in McAlester will serve as an avenue to further discuss drug activity, treatment needs, prevention programs and provide dialog for addressing and eliminating criminal activity throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Woodward says OBNDD will be on hand to address drug crime issues. He says representatives from area treatment and prevention services, the public schools and churches will also speak and provide assistance to those needing a place to turn for addiction recovery and support.

The Public Forum on Drug Crime and Substance Abuse is at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, at the McAlester Expo Center, 4500 West Highway 270. The event is free and open to everyone.
