Horse Brings Traffic to a Halt in Northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Authorities had to wrangle a horse after it brought traffic to a standstill near N.W. 36th Street and Portland Avenue Thursday afternoon.

It is not yet known how or where the horse escaped from.

At one point the horse ran into rush hour traffic and was nearly hit.

Authorities eventually were able to calm the horse down and get it into a trailer.
